Ansaf Salleb-Aouissi

Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Computer Science

Ansaf is a Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science Department at Columbia University.

She passionately teaches AI and discrete mathematics and conducts exciting research in her PRAISE Lab (Practice and Research in AI for Science and Education). Her research interests focus on AI for medicine, science, and education. She recently founded Aiphabet Inc., a non-profit organization to disseminate free and quality AI education among teens and pre-college students. Ansaf is the author of over 40 peer-published articles on AI and its applications. Originally from Algeria, where she earned an engineering degree in Computer Science, Ansaf lived in France to pursue graduate studies (University of Orleans) and post-doc (INRIA Rennes).
