Paul Logston

ASSOCIATE IN IEOR & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP

Paul Logston, a New York City-based engineer, currently works as a principal engineer at 15Five focusing on development operations (DevOps) and site reliability.  He also teaches the Tools for Analytics course, which introduces students to the basics of the Python programming language for use in data and business analytics.

Logston co-organizes the Learn Python NYC Meetup group and PyGotham, the annual regional Python conference. He also oversees the maintenance of Pyvideo.org, a freely available index of Python-related video resources that seek to provide everyone with the opportunity to learn about Python.

Logston’s interests converge at software, hardware, health, education, and community service. He has over a decade of teaching and improvisation experience which guides his engagement style towards creating great questions and the practice of active listening.
