Overview
COVID has disproportionately affected different communities and has increased inequality. This includes inequality in employment, time, health care, risks, ability to communicate, education, loneliness, and connectivity. How can we reduce the rising inequality brought about by COVID?
Project Goal
Design a product or service to reduce inequities in how COVID-19 has affected communities of color.
Problem Definition & Specifications
Think broadly, and then articulate a specific challenge. Examples might include: a product or service, education, regulation, publicity, outreach…. Identify specific communities and learn from them what they need; ideate and prototype solutions and evaluate with the community members you are trying to help; iterate, refine, and then present a prototype and vision for how your idea will help reduce the unequal impact of COVID-19 on different communities .
