Information Session:
Applying to the 2019 LLNL HED Summer Student Program
In this informal instructional meeting, I talk about the Lawrence Livermore National Lab (LLNL) High Energy Density (HED) summer internship program. This three-month summer program is open to US national undergraduates and graduate students in the STEM fields. I describe how to apply to the program, precisely what the mentors look for in an application, and give examples of summer student projects that interns have done within the past few years. After the talk, I will be available few-on-one or one-on-one to talk with interested students about the summer program in more detail.
