Andrew P. Kosoresow

Assistant Professor Andrew P. Kosoresow ’85CC died suddenly June 1, 2003. A graduate of the College as a computer science major, he returned to the Alma Mater he loved after receiving his Ph.D. at Stanford. As a teacher and advisor, he was the “go-to guy” for all CS undergrads, receiving the Kim Award for Faculty Involvement in 2001. His passion was his students, and he always had time to listen. He also was a thinker, a scholar, and classicist who loved his School and made it a better place. The CS Department has established the Andrew P. Kosoresow Memorial Award for Outstanding Performance in TA-ing and Service. To contribute, call 212-939-7007.
