MS Students Gain Global Advantage

Columbia Engineering has taken a historic step in its globalization initiatives by signing a dual certifi- cation agreement with the University of Bologna that provides an opportunity for students from both universities to obtain a master’s degree in civil en- gineering from each institution with only one addi- tional year of study. Academicians and cultural rep- resentatives from Italy joined with their Columbia counterparts to celebrate the new program that, be- ginning in the fall of 2010, will train SEAS students to work anywhere in Europe.
