VIDEOS: TEDx Presentations
TEDxColumbiaEngineering, held Nov. 29, brought to light ideas worth spreading. Some of the foremost minds on campus, including Columbia Engineering professors Elisa Konofagou, Kartik Chandran, Henning Schulzrinne and Eitan Grinspun, were among the impressive list of presenters in the daylong event, sparking conversation, thought and productive exchange among those who attended. From organic chemistry to economics, and from engineering to entertainment, the talks highlighted areas that are at the frontiers of innovation today.
The mostly student-organized event was divided into three sessions – health, sustainability, and technology/entrepreneurship – that provided opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to learn about the latest ideas in these field as well as how to convert their inventions into successful ventures and enterprises. Below is a sampling from the event. Watch more videos on the Columbia Engineering YouTube page and choose from a collection of 20 presentations.
