Professor Kartik Chandran Wins MacArthur 'Genius' Grant
Chandran won the award for his work in "transforming wastewater from a pollutant requiring disposal to a resource for useful products, such as commodity chemicals, energy sources, and fertilizers."

Memorial Service for Professor Joseph Traub
St. Paul's Chapel
A memorial service will be held for Joseph Traub, Edwin Howard Armstrong Professor of Computer Science and founder of the Computer Science Department, on Monday, October 26 at 3 p.m. in St. Paul's Chapel.
Classes ending in 6 or 1 (e.g. 1966 or 2011) are invited to campus to celebrate Reunion June 2–5, 2015. Want to get involved and help make this weekend a success? Contact us at seasalumni@columbia.edu.
