Predicting Breast Cancer Survival

Columbia Engineering researchers, led by Dimitris Anastassiou, the research team has developed a new computational model that is highly predictive of breast cancer survival.  

Engineers Map Evaporation Globally

This new development will help scientists evaluate water resource management, assess recent trends of evaporation throughout the globe, and validate surface hydrologic models in various conditions.   MORE

Register for Reunion and Dean’s Day 2013
May 30 to June 2, 2013 | New York

Alumni Reunion Weekend will take place from May 30 to June 2, 2013. All alumni from classes ending in 3 or 8 (e.g. 1963 or 1988) are invited to come back to campus and celebrate their Class Reunion. All other alumni are invited to join us for Dean’s Day on Saturday, June 1. We have an exciting program of events planned—from interesting lectures and campus tours to class-specific social gatherings and the all-alumni Engineering Welcome Dinner and CEAA Awards Presentation. Don’t miss this opportunity to reconnect with the School and your fellow classmates!

March in the Alumni Parade of Classes

As part of Columbia Engineering Class Day, we will honor the Class of 1963 as part of our Jubilee Celebration. The Jubilee Celebration allows us to recognize your 50th anniversary of graduation from a Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, or Doctoral program by inviting you to march in our Parade of Classes at 5 p.m., and to join us for a reception prior to the Class Day ceremony at 3:30 p.m. Click here to register

Reunion is just around the corner. In the meantime, please complete the 50th Reunion questionnaire by Friday, May 10 for inclusion in your commemorative Reunion Class Booklet. The Booklet will be given out at the class's marquee reunion event: the celebratory dinner and champagne toast at the Russian Tea Room.
