Charlie Stigler has a dream and the Thiel Fellowship he has just won is going to help make it come true. Stigler wants to create something that will improve the lives of people across the globe. “I want to make lasting, broad, and helpful change in the world,” he says. MORE

Daddazio wins Columbia University Alumni Medal

Raymond Daddazio BS’75, MS’76, ScD’82 received the prestigious Columbia University Alumni Medal during graduation week, joining an elite group of Columbia alumni who have been recognized for their distinguished service to the University. MORE

Alumni Celebrate Engineering Class Day

Engineering alumni from the 1950s through the 2010s returned to campus to honor the Class of 2012 as the newest graduates of Columbia Engineering. Alumni attended a special reception before marching with decade banners in the Class Day procession. As part of the Class Day ceremony, the School held its inaugural Jubilee Alumni Celebration to recognize alumni celebrating the 50th anniversary of their graduation from a master’s, professional, or doctoral degree program. Graduate alumni from the classes of 1930 through 1962 were invited to participate. Read more about Class Day.
