Calatrava Presents Recent Projects

 
 
World-renowned architect, artist, and engineer Santiago Calatrava, ’07 HON, gave two lectures on his recent projects April 20 and 28 in Davis Auditorium.
 
Calatrava’s recent work includes the Athens Olympic Sports Complex and the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain. He currently is designing the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in New York.
His honors include the 2005 Gold Medal of the American Institute of Architects; the Gold Medal of the Institute of Structural Engineers, London; and the Gold Medal for Merit in the Fine Arts, Ministry of Culture, Spain.
