  CAREER RESOURCES

Mentor a Student this Summer
Join the 2011 Science Technology Engineering Program (STEP) Mentors - Summer 2001
Mentor a student engaged in a ten-week high quality summer internship based in the NYC area. In our second annual program, we are hosting 40 students in a diverse array of engineering fields including biomedical, civil, chemical, computer engineering, computer science, earth and environmental, electrical, and mechanical fields, and we seek mentors from similar backgrounds. Students will be provided professional development from the Center for Career Education (CCE). Mentors will be encouraged to share insight about trends in their industries, best practices for the hiring process, and advice about career paths. Two events during the summer will be hosted by CCE to support the mentoring experience. We are seeking 40 SEAS alumni who are interested in getting involved. If you are interested or have additional questions, please contact Malla Haridat, Senior Associate Director of Alumni Outreach, at vh19@columbia.edu or 212-854-7862.
